Banning High School - CREEC 2018 Environmental Art Contest

CREEC 2018 Environmental Art Contest

Please share this opportunity with your students (and friends! there is an adult category too!) to participate in our 14th Annual CREEC Environmental Art Contest.

This year's theme is FIRE.

See details in the flyer below.

With all the California fires this past year, it could be an interesting review/study of this most transformational element! or it could just be a fun way to illustrate, sculpt, photograph flames! The expression is up to the artist...

With testing out of the way, perhaps working on a class project together would be a fun way to use your critical thinking skills (&/or artistic skills) in a fun creative way? There is a Group Collaboration prize!

Or maybe it's an individual project you'd like to do?

We hope to see participation from across Region 10 Riverside & San Bernardino Counties. Everyone pre-K through adult are invited to enter this contest!

If you live in the western part of our region, projects may be submitted to:

Greg Nicholas in person or via Jet Mail to the Murrieta RCOE office:

38670 Sky Canyon Drive Suite 200, Murrieta, CA 92563 (951) 249-8800

or

C/O Shaun Martineu at the SBCSS office: 601 N. E Street San Bernardino, CA 92415

(909) 386-2910

Please join us at our 6th Annual World Environment Day Celebration Sunday June 3rd from 2-5 in Palm Springs (details in flyer) for a fun-filled event and the Art Awards Ceremony @4:30pm!

Hope to see you (& your art projects!) there!
