We have launched our Race to Submit school scorecard online and you can check out how your school is doing at http://www.rcec.us/scorecard/. This scorecard will be updated every Tuesday until June 30, 2018. The data listed includes both your FAFSA and Dream Act submission rates. The enrollment data is based on your Cal Pads reported information as of October 1, 2017. Our Riverside County goal is to reach 93% FAFSA/Dream Act completion and we will need your help to reach this goal! You can also download the official FAFSA commercial at www.rcec.us. Please feel free to post this video on your website and share it with your staff, students, parents, and communities.
The Race to Submit statewide campaign is also underway and you can review your statewide status compared to other California schools with similar enrollment by visiting https://webutil.csac.ca.gov/Dashboard/. Please keep in mind that the enrollment data listed on the statewide dashboard are last year’s numbers and CSAC is working with the CA Department of Education to confirm final 2017-2018 census data statewide.
We have also added Race to Submit resources on the www.rcec.us website for you to review. Once you visit the site, you will log in or create an account if this is your first time using the website. Under the Race to Submit logo, you can view and download these resources such as local best practices, financial aid information you can share with your students and examples of social media exposure and awareness.
We are honored that the CA Student Aid Commission and the CA Department of Education have adopted our Riverside County Race as the official statewide campaign. We intend to not only continue to honor our local winners in the selected categories for March 2nd and June 30th submissions, but also to support all sites to make the state top ten scorecard.
