Supervisor Marion Ashley’s Fifth District Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is currently recruiting for the 2018-2019 council year. The Fifth District YAC is comprised of students who live and attend school in the Fifth District of Riverside County which includes: Banning, Beaumont, Moreno Valley, Perris and Menifee as well as several unincorporated areas. Students also have the chance to complete over 100 community service hours and be engaged in well-rounded community projects while apart of the council.
If you know of a student who is interested in pursuing these leadership opportunities, college and career development or may have an interest in county government, please have them fill out the 2018-2019 application as soon as possible as spaces are limited!
The Fifth District Youth Advisory Council will only be accepting 50 students this year and each student will participate in a brief interview. All applications are due by Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
