The San Gorgonio Education Foundation’s photography contest is open to any student or employee of the Banning Unified School District.

The San Gorgonio Education Foundation (SGEF) is a nonprofit organization that fundraises for events, projects, programs and activities for the Banning Unified School District.

The theme for this year’s contest is “Postcards From Banning.”

SGEF seeks photographs depicting life and places within the city.

By submitting no more than three digital entries, participants certify that their entries do not violate any law, regulation or treaty, or administrative act.

Entries must be original, and submissions may include a digital watermark. If an entry is selected, the photographer agrees to submit the entry without a watermark within a reasonable time period, upon request by SGEF.

Winning entries will be used in marketing campaigns for the San Gorgonio Education Foundation, including the sale of postcards depicting the winning photographs. By signing and submitting the entry form, entrants agree to grant SGEF the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to reuse, publish and use the submitted photography for fundraising purposes, and releases SGEF from any claims or demands that could arise in connection with the use of the photos; and hold harmless SGEF and its officers, directors, and partners within the school district from liability.

Entries should reflect life, places, people and activities in the sphere of the city of Banning. Entries should be submitted as JPGs no later than April 2, 2018 at 5 p.m. to .

Submissions may be judged by the board of SGEF, and/or members of the Loyal Knights of the Round Table, who is a foundation sponsor.

Entrants should receive receipt of submission; since e-mail is not always 100 percent dependable, entrants are welcome to call SGEF president David Heiss at 951-849-4586 after 24 hours if one has not been received.
