Both senior females joined others in Riverside County with currently the highest grade point average (GPA) in their respective high schools at the 2014 Riverside County Office of Education Student Academic Awards Dinner on Wednesday April 23, 2014 at the Riverside Convention Center. The dinner was attended by both girls, their families, site administration (Mr. Newton, Mr. Valdivia, Ms. Cole), counselors Janelle Poulter and Phil Takacs, District Superintendent Mr. Robert Guillen, and school board trustees Mr. Cassadas (President) and Mr. Ellis.

Banning High School senior Arianna Dorticos participated in the qualifying competitions of the 2014 Junior Olympic Fencing Championships in Portland, Oregon on Friday February 14-Sunday February 17, 2014. Arianna represented Banning High School and the city of Banning with pride, dignity, style, and grace. We are so proud of you!
