The Transportation Department has been focused on ensuring student transportation routes remain on time, however, staffing challenges will continue to impact pick up and drop off times. Please note changes to routes that may impact your student as provided below.

Please also note, the Broadway & Esperanza stop is temporarily closed due to construction. Please use the next closest stops at Esperanza & Sunrise or the Community Center
Your students need your help! If you know someone that would like to be a substitute driver or apply for an open position please reach out to............. (HR, edjoin or transportation). The department is offering free-of-cost paid training for substitutes and creating a pool of certified drivers for permanent open positions.
In response to the driver labor shortage, the District and driver union representatives have settled on a great compensation package:
8% increase to salaries plus a 5% split-shift differential increase
Van Driver range: $18.14 - $23.15 per hour (step 1 for substitutes)
Bus Driver range: $21.57 - $27.53 per hour (step 1 for substitutes)
Full time eight (8) hour positions for 208 days a year with a health and welfare District contribution of $15,922
Van Driver total compensation with salary and benefits: $46,106 - $54,443
Bus Driver total compensation with salary and benefits: $51,814 - $61,731
$1,000 sign-on incentive (fully paid within the first 6 months)
