Meet Adriana Lopez, Bilingual Aide at Cabazon Elementary School. Here is a little more from Adriana, "I am a first generation Mexican American. My parents immigrated to the United States from Mexico. One of my favorite pastimes is spending time with my pets, and just relaxing at home, whether reading books or playing video games. My absolute favorite series is Harry Potter! Why Do I Love Working at Banning USD?: I am a Banning Unified Alumni, graduated in 2013, so working here makes me happy to be able to give back to the community for which I grew up in! Especially working with students who recently came into our country to better their future, just as my parents have done when they came into this country." Adriana was submitted by a Cabazon staff member, here is what they said about her, "I am nominating Adriana because she has served at Nicolet, Banning High, and now at Cabazon for 9 years as a para educator and now bilingual aide. She is helping to establish her place at Cabazon by offering tutoring, translating, and helping our EL and intervention students achieve their academic goals." #BanningUSD
