As the rain is anticipated to continue throughout today and potentially tomorrow, we have been closely monitoring the local weather radar reports, school facilities, and local road conditions to ensure our spaces are safe for students and staff. Any changes in weather conditions or potential hazards that could create an unsafe environment will be communicated to our school community. Schools will remain open and we will communicate any change to our current status as well as provide any updates that may impact transportation.

Today Central ES had educators from 9 districts throughout Riverside County who visited the campus to see the incredible work that takes place there daily and to learn from our #BanningUSD staff! Here's some info from Vanessa, "I have been in various serving industries in the past decade and it is my passion to serve the community directly. I am married to my wonderful husband who is a Banning Native and I a my son who will hopefully attend #BanningUSD I enjoy trying new foods and restaurants especially in the city I live in. I enjoy working at Banning USD because I enjoy welcoming, informing, and making the new families moving into Banning Unified School District feel comfortable in their new chapter in their lives transitioning their children to a new city and educational institute."

Meet Dr. Stephen Adesina, Assistant Principal at both Hemmerling and Hoffer Elementary Schools. "I am a family man, educator for over 40 years, trained more than 10,000 students worldwide, love soccer, volleyball. cross country, a devoted Christian. An educator to core, a believer that everyone can learn." When asked why he chose #BanningUSD, he said, "Banning is a center of success for future leaders."
