Banning Unified School District is excited to welcome families to our Back to School Backpack Distribution Event on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Coombs North (1151 W Wilson St., Banning, CA 92220).
🎒 Students enrolled in Banning USD are invited to stop by and pick up:
- Free backpacks
- Essential school supplies
- Immunizations (available on site)

We're having a PARTY! It's Hemmerling's 1st ever YEARBOOK SIGNING PARTY! WooHoo!
Tuesday, May 27th from 1:20pm - 2:00pm. Yearbooks are still on sale for $20 Cash or Check, while supplies last!
Hemmerling's Color Run is tomorrow! Parents/guardians may want to send their students with a change of clothes. Only those students attending the event will receive the sunglasses and t-shirts, both of which they may keep when the event is over. You may also want to send a plastic bag for colored clothing. Students may wear masks, that will be provided, if they choose.
REMINDER: Today is Wednesday, Early Release Day. Students are dismissed at 1:45pm.

Tonight! Free Water Conservation Workshop at the Banning Community Center!
Hemmerling's first ever Color Run will take place this Friday, May 23! Students may want to bring a change of clothes for after the event. For safety, all students participating in the event will receive a pair of sunglasses and a plain white t-shirt that they may keep. Students must keep the sunglasses on during the event. Masks will be provided if students want to wear one. The powder is 100% natural including corn starch and natural dyes.
